Computer Completely Dead (No Lights, No Sounds)

1. Check that its plugged in (obvious but often the problem!)
2. Try a different power outlet
3. Check the power strip or surge protector
4. For laptops: Try removing the battery and running on AC power only
5. Check if the power button is stuck

Computer Has Power But Black Screen

1. Check that the monitor is on and connected
2. Try a different monitor cable
3. Listen for beeping sounds (indicates hardware error)
4. Try connecting to a TV via HDMI

Computer Starts Then Shuts Off

• Could be overheating - check if fans are running
• Could be power supply failing
• Could be RAM problem

Blue Screen of Death

Write down the error code and call us. Blue screens indicate hardware or driver problems.
